La Literal single folding wall bed has unassuming contemporary design that suits a variety of environments.
Moreover, this premium wall bed effortlessly opens, instantly providing a full-size single bed.
Next, the bed, mattress and bed clothes easily and neatly fold away to free-up space. Significantly, the bed takes a full size single size mattress (90 W x 200 L x 20 D cm).
This consequently ensures that the bed provides the same good night’s sleep one expects from a regular adult single bed. Please note that the mattress is not included.
La Literal folding bed is fitted with gas pistons which ensure easy opening & closing.
For example, La Literal folding single wall bed opens by simply pulling out the bed’s leg. Next, the bed gently glides down to open with the leg automatically lowering into position.
Moreover, closing the bed is easy too. For instance, gently lift the front of the lowered bed and the gas pistons take over to close the bed. What’s more, the bed’s leg folds back neatly into the bed facia.
Significantly, straps click over the the mattress and bed linen to hold them in place when the bed is closed. Lastly, the bed can be recessed into a wall or can be fitted proud of the wall.
NB; Please note that the bed should only be opened and closed under adult supervision.

Firstly, the single bed has a durable steel bed frame powder coated in a silver-grey finish.
Next, the bed’s outer frame and facia are made from melamine chipboard which is hard-wearing and easy to clean. Lastly, the outer frame and bed’s front facia are supplied in White melamine chipboard. The bed’s robust materials ensure it is suitable for everyday domestic and contract use.
La Literal single bed is easy to install. For instance, the installation requires two persons with basic DIY skills. Moreover, the installation typically takes 1.5-2 hours.
Firstly, the bed’s outer frame is assembled and then secured to the wall and floor with rawl plugs and screws.
Secondly, the bed frame is then hinged inside the outer frame, and gas pistons fitted. Lastly, the bed’s front facia is fixed to the bed frame.
Importantly, Sellex La Literal beds are not suitable for installation on plasterboard walls unless a frame is fitted behind the plasterboard to secure the brackets to. Moreover, Sellex La Literal folding single wall bed is not suitable for installation on floating floors.
