Born in Buenos Aires in 1946, Jorge Pensi studied architecture in his home city before leaving the country in 1975 to become a Spanish citizen. Subsequently, in 1977 Pensi went into partnership with another renowned designer Alberto Lievore.
Next, Pensi set up his own design studio in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona in 1984.
