We were delighted and honoured that Charlotte Rowe agreed to design the stand for Encompass Furniture at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Charlotte Rowe is one of London’s most distinguished garden designers. For example, Charlotte Rowe and her team from Charlotte Rowe Garden Design were awarded a well deserved Gold Medal for their poignant “No Man’s Land” garden.
Significantly, Charlotte drew inspiration for the garden from her grandfather’s and others’ experiences of the 1916 Battle of the Somme during WW1.
The Encompass Furniture stand featured generous wild flower planting, mixed with perennials and shrubs for added aesthetic structure. Next, the stand used different levels to grab visitors’ attention. Moreover, a rectangular water rill reflected the planting and scudding clouds above.
The impressive stand build was skillfully brought together by our colleague Luke Albery, whilst the planting was carried out by Charlotte Rowe and her colleagues.
Consequently, the stand was awarded a Silver Award by the RHS. Congratulations to everyone involved!
The stand included products from;
For example, FueraDentro’s Butaque carver chair has timeless linear design and is perfect for the modern garden.
Next, AK47 Zero fire pit features chic Italian design by Ivano Losa. Moreover, the fire pit’s circular structure is made in oxidised corten steel, which harmoniously complimented the show garden’s planting.
