Description
Sellex Studio folding desk bed combines contemporary European design with intelligent everyday functionality. Designed for regular use by adults or children, the bed folds vertically against the wall when not required, freeing valuable floor space while leaving a substantial integrated desk for studying or working.
Gas pistons are fitted as standard to provide controlled opening and closing, while a sprung-loaded locking mechanism secures the bed in its vertical and horizontal positions. Straps hold the mattress and bedding securely when the bed is closed.
The integrated desk measures 1948 x 800 x 30 mm and is available in a choice of melamine finishes. Manufactured in the EU, Studio is particularly suited to children’s bedrooms, guest rooms, home offices, student accommodation, universities, hostels and other residential or contract interiors where space is at a premium.

Installation
Studio is secured using vertical brackets with self-levelling feet that rest on the floor and are fixed to a suitable solid wall. The bed is hinged between the brackets before the desk is fitted. Installation typically requires two people and approximately 1–1.5 hours.
Installation restrictions: Not suitable for direct installation onto plasterboard without suitable structural reinforcement behind the plasterboard. Not suitable for installation on floating floors.
Opening and closing of the bed should be carried out under adult supervision.
