Description
Sellex Axys folding bunk bed offers an intelligent solution where sleeping capacity and available floor space need to work together. Designed by Nacar Design for Sellex, this modern wall-mounted bunk bed folds vertically away when not required, freeing valuable space during the day.
Designed around a floor-supported structure, Axys transfers the weight of the beds and users to the floor while remaining securely anchored to the wall. Gas pistons provide smooth, controlled opening and closing, complemented by magnetic retention and a safety latch.
Suitable for residential and contract environments, the folding bunk bed includes an integrated mattress retainer and upper safety rail, together with a separate ladder. Optional side covers, shelving, electrification and lighting allow the installation to be tailored to its setting.
Materials
Frame
Robust metal structure manufactured from rectangular steel profiles, designed to transfer the principal load through the floor. The steel sections are finished in a durable epoxy powder coat finish, available in a range of finishes.
Bed fascia / mattress supports
16 mm melamine-faced chipboard, providing a durable, easy-care finish.
Optional side covers
10 mm melamine board.
