Hand-Made By Artisans Using Centuries-Old Skills

A Ferro E Fuoco modern fire dog uses reclaimed steel, recycled from old railway tracks. Next, the fire dog is hand-forged by Italian artisans using a 500 year-old water powered hammer. Consequently, this age-old process gives a unique and tactile aesthetic to the fire dog.

A Ferro E Fuoco’s Designer

A Ferro E Fuoco’s designer Marco Ferreri is a highly regarded Italian architect and designer. Born on February 26, 1958 in Imperia, Ferreri finished his studies in architecture in 1981.

Ferreri has lived and worked in Milan since 1984. What’s more, as well as working in industrial design he is also engaged in architecture, graphics, and installations.

Lastly, Ferreri has lectured at universities in Italy and abroad. What’s more, he teaches at the Accademia di Brera in Milan and is a Professor at the Politecnico of Milan.
