Description
Gommaire teak cleaner provides an effective way to clean and maintain premium teak outdoor furniture. Designed for general cleaning, it helps remove accumulated surface dirt and weathering while respecting the natural character and distinctive grain of solid teak.
Regular cleaning can help keep teak furniture looking its best as it naturally matures outdoors. Depending on the underlying colour of the timber, cleaning may temporarily reveal warmer pink, yellow or orange tones. This is a natural characteristic of teak rather than a defect.
For additional protection after cleaning, Gommaire recommends following with Gommaire teak protector, which helps protect the surface against water-based stains.
Application
Gently rinse the entire teak surface with a hose and remove excess water with a soft cloth. Spray Gommaire teak cleaner evenly over the whole surface and leave for approximately 10 minutes.
Gently clean in the direction of the wood grain, then rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all residue. Wipe away excess water and allow the furniture to dry naturally away from direct sunlight. The treatment can be repeated once dry if necessary.
For Emas Brown teak, use only a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge; abrasive pads or sanding can alter the finish.
