Royal Botania Palma Parasol is a luxury outdoor parasol designed by Kris Van Puyvelde. Combining organic contemporary styling with exceptional functionality, Palma creates elegant shade for terraces, poolside seating areas and sophisticated garden lounges.
Distinguished by its unique strut-free canopy and sculptural tapered mast, Palma offers a refined architectural appearance unlike conventional garden parasols. The generous 3m heptagonal canopy provides comfortable shade for outdoor sofas, lounge chairs and sun loungers while maintaining a clean and elegant profile.
The innovative gas-assisted opening mechanism eliminates the need for pulleys, allowing the canopy to open and close effortlessly. Palma is available in a selection of contemporary frame finishes and premium fabric colours, making it a versatile solution for modern outdoor living spaces.
Materials
Frame
The parasol structure is manufactured from premium powder-coated aluminium, providing exceptional strength, corrosion resistance and long-term durability for outdoor environments.
Available frame finishes include Sand, Anthracite and White, enhancing Palma’s elegant and contemporary appearance.
Upholstery
The canopy is manufactured from premium Tempotest® solution-dyed acrylic fabric, specifically developed for demanding exterior applications.
The fabric provides excellent UV resistance, water repellency and stain resistance, ensuring lasting colour performance and easy maintenance throughout the seasons.
Base
Palma’s 71kg base is finished in the same finish as the parasol’s mast & ribs. The base features a tyre fitted to its radius which enables you to “wheel” the base and parasol to wherever you want.
Configuration
Palma is supplied with a 3m diameter heptagonal canopy, automatic gas-assisted opening system and quick-release base connection for convenient installation and handling.
A matching 71kg base in the same finish as the mast and ribs is included as standard, together with a protective cover bag for convenient storage and protection.
