Large Recessed Fire Pit
AK47 Hole countersunk fire bowl is a simple, modern design garden fire pit that is also highly functional. Hole fire pit is a reserved niche, a subtle opening in the ground, that disappears when the steel cover plate is fitted. You hardly notice that Hole is there. However, Hole becomes animated when the fire is lit, displaying all its charm. Once the show is over and the cover plate is fitted, the Hole garden fire pit blends back into its surroundings. What’s more, the cover plate is strong enough to walk over.
Fire Bowl Lid
Hole includes 2 galvanised steel handles to carry the fire bowl’s lid. Simply insert the handle’s into the lid’s carry holes, and fit or remove the lid as required.
Optional BBQ Grill
Hole quickly and easily converts to a large BBQ. Simply add the large stainless steel BBQ grill (95 diam diam), and you’re ready to barbecue or cook a perfect paella over Hole’s sizzling embers.
What Should I Burn In Hole?
Hole is a wood-burning garden fire pit. Consequently, we recommend burning dry seasoned firewood for optimum heat and minimum smoke. However, you can also burn BBQ charcoal if preferred.
Hole Dimensions
AK47 Hole countersunk fire bowl measures;
- 1.36 m Ø x 0.184 m depth (4.5ft Ø x 0.6ft height).
Luxury Fire Pit Materials
AK47 Design use only luxury fire pit materials.
Corten Steel
Hole recessed fire pit uses corten steel. Significantly, corten steel is strong and naturally acquires an attractive oxidised patina. The oxidised patina protects the interior material, preventing further oxidisation. Corten steel (also known as “weathering steel”) is frequently used in the building industry or for sculptures. For example, the Angel of the North sculpture in northern England is made in corten steel.
Stainless Steel
Hole’s optional BBQ grill is made in stainless steel. Importantly, the stainless steel is strong, corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.
