Next, Drop’s timber table tops use solid teak. Significantly, teak (Tectona grandis) is naturally oil-rich hardwood, making it ideal for outdoor use.
Moreover, the teak is delivered untreated. Consequently, Cane-line’s sustainably sourced teak furniture will naturally develop a silver-grey patina over time. Alternatively, you can retain the timber’s original golden color by applying a teak sealant.
Lastly, please note that teak is a natural product and therefore continues to change. For example, this means that small cracks can develop due to drying, and that slats can warp slightly.
