For your peace of mind, Royal Botania use only the finest materials. For instance, IXIT features teak hardwood (Tectona grandis). Significantly, teak is naturally oil-rich, making it highly resistant to rotting and corrosion. What’s more, the timber is hand-sanded to a smooth & tactile finish. Lastly, the timber does not splinter and is highly resistant to the harshest extremes of weather.
Importantly, Royal Botania carefully monitor all timber to confirm its origin, legality and sustainability. What’s more, Royal Botania has undertaken to give back more to the environment than it uses.
For example, Royal Botania founded the Green Forest Plantation Company in 2010. Significantly, the company subsequently created a plantation with a surface area of about 200 hectares (i.e. 500 acres). Moreover, the Green Forest Plantation Company planted over 250,000 teak trees there between 2011 and 2014.
Next, IXIT’s cushions use 100% solution-dyed acrylic and polypropylene fabrics. Significantly, the fabrics are UV, stain, mildew resistant & machine washable.
What’s more, the cushions include QuickDry foam. Significantly, this ensures that any moisture is quickly expelled from the cushion’s interior, quickly leaving the cushion dry and ready to use again.
