At Louis Benech’s request, Royal Botania have chosen teak of exceptional density and weight. Consequently, this enables the furniture to “take root” in its surroundings, thus preventing the pieces flying away in even the heaviest gust.

Significantly, teak (Tectona grandis) is naturally oil-rich, making it highly resistant to rotting and corrosion. What’s more, the teak is hand-sanded to a smooth & tactile finish. Lastly, teak does not splinter and is highly resistant to the harshest extremes of weather.

For example, Royal Botania founded the Green Forest Plantation Company in 2010.
