Nara modern teak garden bench collection is a collaboration between French garden designer Louis Benech and Royal Botania.
Significantly, Royal Botania have decades of expertise in the production of high quality teak furniture. For instance, Royal Botania teak furniture collections include;
At Louis Benech’s request, Royal Botania have chosen teak of exceptional density and weight. Consequently, this enables the furniture to “take root” in its surroundings, thus preventing the pieces flying away in even the heaviest gust.
Moreover, Royal Botania use only the finest A-grade plantation teak, ensuring a lifetime of comfort and aesthetic pleasure.
Significantly, teak (Tectona grandis) is naturally oil-rich, making it highly resistant to rotting and corrosion. What’s more, the teak is hand-sanded to a smooth & tactile finish. Lastly, teak does not splinter and is highly resistant to the harshest extremes of weather.
Importantly, Royal Botania carefully monitor all teak to confirm its origin, legality and sustainability. What’s more, Royal Botania has undertaken to give back more to the environment than it uses.
For example, Royal Botania founded the Green Forest Plantation Company in 2010. Significantly, the company subsequently created a plantation with a surface area of about 200 hectares (i.e. 500 acres). Moreover, the Green Forest Plantation Company planted over 250,000 teak trees there between 2011 and 2014.
Benech followed in the footsteps of Le Nôtre creating the Water Theater Grove. For instance, this was the first contemporary garden ever to be seen in the historical surroundings of the Palais de Versailles.
What’s more, he also designed the « Versailles XXI » contemporary marble and concrete bench for this exceptional project.
Subsequently, the meeting between one of today’s leading garden designers and the high quality teak furniture specialists Royal Botania was decisive. For example, Royal Botania perfectly understood the essence of Benech’s reflection based on two key words: continuity and modernity.
Consequently, thus was born the Nara modern teak garden bench collection.
Like all Royal Botania garden furniture, Nara teak bench seat has ageless modern design and is made in premium quality materials. These factors ensure that this collection is suitable for a wide range of high-end residential and hospitality installations.
