The Factory sunbed is immediately identifiable thanks to Ramón Esteve’s clever use of the expanded “deployé” mesh panels on the furniture’s surfaces. The mesh creates distinctive transparency and lightness to the furniture’s aesthetic. What’s more, The Factory’s mesh panels magically play with light and shade, casting intricate & enchanting shadows.
Drawing inspiration from the cast-iron architecture of New York’s Tribeca and Soho districts, The Factory collection features aluminum profiles and deployé mesh structures that evoke the beams and iron trusses typical of these historic neighborhoods.

Ramón Esteve, a graduate of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM), founded Ramon Esteve Estudio de Arquitectura in 1991.
His work spans architectural and interior design projects, as well as industrial design and art direction, both nationally and internationally.
