Designed by Henrik Pedersen, Gloster Lima lounger reinterprets classic garden furniture through a distinctly contemporary lens. Referencing traditional outdoor forms while embracing modern proportions, Lima feels both familiar and confidently current. This elegant modern sunbed is supplied as standard with a luxurious full length cushion.
The lounger frame is crafted from A-grade plantation teak (Tectona grandis), naturally oil-rich and highly resistant to rot, corrosion and extreme weather. Each piece is hand-sanded to a smooth, splinter-free finish, ensuring tactile comfort and long-term outdoor performance.
Gloster teak is exclusively sourced through Indonesia’s Perum Perhutani organisation, which manages forests on Java and Madura according to strict sustainability and governance principles.
Seat and back surfaces feature Gloster’s premium polyethylene wicker—hand-woven, soft to the touch, UV stable and resistant to chlorine, salt water and oils. Cushions are upholstered in solution-dyed acrylic fabrics with QuickDry foam, offering colour fastness, water repellence and fast moisture release.
