Tension modern garden table and benches are a range of contemporary picnic furniture with unique aesthetics. This chic furniture is designed by Maly Hoffman Kahleyss for Conmoto German garden furniture company.

The starting point for Tension’s design was the idea of connecting the furniture’s slightly outward-splayed legs with a solid wooden bar for stability.
The design team opted for a crafted peg-joint construction in order to firmly anchor the table’s cross bar and legs.
The result was not only a “tense” shape in the literal sense, but also an interesting contrast of materials.
For example, the flat HPL surfaces perfectly contrast the solid iroko wood cross bar.
These features give a distinctive look to Tension contemporary picnic furniture.
