Once exposed to the weather, the material takes on a life of its own. Importantly, The Ring may not be completely rusted when it arrives. However, inevitable rainfall will initiate a rusty oxidation layer to form, protecting The Ring against further corrosion. For example, the natural formation of this barrier can take up to 1 year. However, spraying regularly some water on The Ring will speed up this transformation.
Significantly, the start of the rusting process may cause The Ring to leave some coloured spots on your terrace, especially on a light-colored surface.
