Glaze contemporary tables use powder coated aluminium for their bases & for some table top edges. The quality and treatment of the aluminium structures comply with the highest standards. Consequently, this means that the furniture requires no additional protection.

Glaze table tops optionally use certified teak wood. Significantly, teak (Tectona grandis) is naturally oil-rich hardwood, making it ideal for outdoor use.
The teak is untreated. Consequently, Cane-line’s sustainably sourced teak furniture will naturally develop a silver-grey patina over time.
You can retain the timber’s original golden color by applying a teak sealant.
Please note that teak is a natural product and therefore continues to change. For example, this means that small cracks can develop due to drying, and that slats can warp slightly.
Cane-line teak is approved and forested under the SVLK – Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (Indonesia’s timber legality assurance system) certification system. Importantly, this ensures that the timber is sustainably sourced and responsibly processed.
