Sticks sofa and lounge chair use solid teak. Teak (Tectona grandis) is naturally oil-rich hardwood, making it ideal for outdoor use.
The teak is delivered untreated. Consequently, Cane-line’s sustainably sourced teak furniture will naturally develop a silver-grey patina over time. You can retain the timber’s original golden color by applying a teak sealant.
Please note that teak is a natural product and therefore continues to change. For example, this means that small cracks can develop due to drying, and that slats can warp slightly.
Cane-line teak is approved and forested under the SVLK – Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu (Indonesia’s timber legality assurance system) certification system. This ensures that the timber is sustainably sourced and responsibly processed.
