Tension Wood – Modern Garden Dining Furniture

The starting point for our design was the idea of connecting both slightly outward-splayed legs of this large table and bench. Then , combining a solid wooden bar for stability. We opted a crafted wedge construction, in order to firmly anchor the bar and the legs. The result was not only a “tense” shape in the literal sense, but also an interesting contrast of materials: Together, the very flat HPL material and the solid teak wood give off a great appearance!

Tension wood is available in various material combinations – each creating a unique and striking appearance. Tables and benches are available with eather solid oak or walnut tops, seats, backrests and cross beams and con be specified with a choice of different colour HPL legs.
