A2 Chair – Swedish design Classic “Design Classic”  a much used term. However, we believe the A2 & A3 cantilever chairs from Grythyttan merit the accolade.

Significantly, originally, designed and manufactured by Grythyttan Stalmobler in 1930 in Sweden. Their popularity was immediate and a complete collection of garden furniture was soon available. During the 40′s and 50′s the chair’s popularity grew and the furniture found its way into many Swedish gardens. Nowadays the brand stands for quality in manufacturing and materials and the A2 & A3 chairs, as well as other design classics, are still being produced in the same way 80+ years on…

A2 garden dining chairs are available with green steel base or galvanized steel base, and seat and back in pine, oiled oak, white lacquered oak, or untreated teak.

A range of tables are available in the same style & materials. The furniture’s design is a combination of modern and more classical. The steel frame is available in a dark-green or galvanised finish, whilst seat slats are available in pine, oak, teak or white lacquered oak.
