Palma parasol, designed by Kris Van Puyvelde for Royal Botania. Palma is a new concept in parasols, offering modern organic aesthetics, and simple functionality that everyone can use and enjoy. Sporting a 3.0m diametre heptagonal (7 side) canopy, Royal Botania Palma modern parasol has a unique automatic opening system operated through a gas spring located in the parasol’s mast. Simply lift the parasol ribs, and the canopy will automatically fully open. To close the canopy, simply repeat the process in reverse by pulling down the ribs, and the parasol canopy will return to fully closed.
To complete the clean organic design, Palma parasol canopy is supported with ribs without struts, whilst the canopy’s cleanly designed hub has no visible fixtures, fittings or screws shown. The powder coated mast is tapered, making this parasol a uniquely sculptural shade.
The mast base has a quick release system, allowing the parasol to be easily and quickly detached from the base. The base has a tyre surround, which allows the base to be easily moved about.
Palma parasol’s aluminium body is powder coated in a black, white or taupe finish, and the canopy is available in a wide range of high quality Tempotest acrylic fabrics. Palma parasol is supplied as standard with a matching base & cover bag.
Made to the highest standard, Palma parasol is suitable for residential and hospitality projects.
