Maffam MANU NEST, striking garden pod swing, designed by prolific designer and physicist Raimonds Cirulis, Latvia.
Maffam use basalt fibres to construct MANU NEST, a once Top Secret material used by the Soviets during the Cold War in the manufacture of military aviation. Now used for far more peaceful and creative purposes, basalt fibres are versatile, tactile and also highly durable. This versatility enables Maffam to develop organic shapes and forms, designed for a lifetime of use both indoors and out. MANU NEST is available in a range of sizes, to accommodate 1 to 3 people. MANU NESTS can be suspended from trees, ceilings or a striking new stand designed by Maffam. Click here for a short movie.
